ANKARA/WASHINGTON - The International Monetary Fund (IMF) released 476 million U.S. dollars after the fifth review of Turkey's Stand-By Arrangement was completed late on Friday.
Releasing a statement, IMF said that Turkey could draw 476 million U.S. dollars immediately.
The statement also said that the Executive Board also approved a one-year extension to the obligation dates of time-based repurchase expectations for the period 2004 and 2005 in an aggregate amount equivalent to 11 billion U.S. dollars.
