ANTALYA - The rise in number of Danish tourists visiting southern resort city of Antalya does not confirm the views that tourism sector was negatively affected by the crisis caused by the publication of the cartoons in a newspaper depicting Prophet Mohammad.
The statistical data from the Antalya International Airport showing the number of foreign visitors has revealed that Danish tourists who want to visit Antalya are not interested in the ''cartoon crisis''.
According to the statistics, 17,622 Danish tourists visited Antalya in January-April period last year, and this figure rose to 23,034 in the same period this year.
