ATHENS - The 9th Heads of State & Government Summit of the South East European Cooperation Process (SEECP) has begun in Thessalonica, Greece on Thursday.
Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, State Minister Ali Babacan and Transportation Minister Binali Yildirim are representing Turkey at the meeting.
Prime Minister Erdogan is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with Prime Minister Konstandinos Karamanlis of Greece, President Branko Crvenkovski of Macedonia and Prime Minister Vasile Tarlev of Moldova.
Erdogan will proceed from Greece to Azerbaijan later in the day to attend 9th Economic Cooperation Organization Summit of Heads of State & Government in Baku on Friday.
Meanwhile, Yildirim will sign an agreement on development of southeast European railway network on behalf of Turkey.
