60 Foreigners Trying To Flee Abroad Caught In Ayvacik

AYVACIK - Gendarme teams caught 60 foreigners who were preparing to flee abroad in Ayvacýk town of northwestern Canakkale province on Friday.
Acting on a tip-off, gendarme teams took into custody 32 Pakistanis, 19 Afghans, 8 Iranians and one Bangladeshi waiting on the coast near Magazalar region of Kosedere village.
Two drivers of a lorry which brought the foreigners to the region were also captured and arrested by court.
Officials said that the foreigners would be deported.
