ANKARA - Interior Minister Abdulkadir Aksu said on Friday that there was a terrorist organization which claimed responsibility for the explosion which took place in Ankara the same morning.
''We should not give its name in order not to advertise it,'' said Aksu who visited the injured persons due to the explosion which took place in the garden of the Justice Ministry's Center of Education for Judge and Prosecutor Candidates the same morning in Ankara.
Upon questions of journalists asking if there was a negligence during the examination of the package, Aksu said that the possibility of a second bomb was not considered. ''I've visited Gulhane military hospital. We have 11 friends there. One of them was about to have an operation. One of the wounded policemen's fingers were seriously hurt. He would also have an operation.''
Security Director General Aydýner said in his part that a leftist organization claimed responsibility for the explosion, without giving the organization's name.
