ISTANBUL - Exports in July, 2003 increased by 34.3 percent and reached 4.24 billion dollars.
According to Turkey Exporters Assembly (TIM) data, the exports in the period between January-July, 2003 increased by 34.5 percent. The exports which were 19.27 billion dollars in the same period last year reached 25.93 billion dollars this year.
Meanwhile, the exports between August 1, 2002-July 31, 2003 increased by 31.2 percent and reached 42.83 billion dollars.
The exports of industrial goods which constituted 86.6 percent of the total exports increased 34.9 percent to 22.5 billion dollars in the first seven months of this year when compared to the same period last year.
