Nasiroglu: There Can Be Other Resignations From C.H.P.

ANKARA - Batman deputy Nezir Nasýroglu, who resigned from Republican People's Party (CHP) claimed on Friday that there could be other resignations from CHP.
Speaking in a news conference, Nasýroglu said that he resigned from his party due to the attitude of CHP towards the Reassociation Law and the anti-democratic practices within the party.
Commenting that there were distortions from the discourse and practices of CHP after the Nov. 3 elections, Nasýroglu claimed that ''the party deviated itself from the target of Ataturk.''
Responding to questions of journalists, Nasýroglu said that he would act in line with the will of the electors who voted for him, adding that he could either join AK Party or another party.
Noting that there could be other resignations from the party, Nasýroglu said that CHP's Batman provincial organizations resigned from CHP together with him.
