ANKARA - Turkey-Palestine Interparliamentary Friendship Group met with Palestinian Ambassador to Turkey Fouad Yaseen on Friday.
Speaking before the meeting at Palestinian Embassy in Ankara, Yaseen said that the friendship between Turkey and Palestine had a sound past and that they expected further improvement of the cooperation between the two countries by the contribution of this friendship group.
The Friendship Group Chairman Huseyin Tanrýverdi said in his part that the group was recently founded, adding that they attributed importance to Palestinian cause.
Noting that they would work for ending the clash between Palestine and Israel and for installation of peace, Tanrýverdi said that there were important missions that had to be done by Turkey in that regard and that a ''road map'' without Turkey would be incomplete regarding the solution.
