ANKARA - Preparations have started in northwestern Kirklareli province, southeastern Silopi town and eastern Van province to implement the Reassociation Law.
Sources told A.A correspondent on Friday that Gaziosmanpasa Guesthouse for Immigrants was being re-organized within the scope of the initiatives launched to deal with those who wanted to benefit from the Reassociation Law.
The sources said that the guesthouse had been repaired and painted while a ''Press Center'' was being formed for Turkish and foreign journalists.
A tender had been opened for purchase of necessary equipment including computers and photocopy machine, the sources stated.
The sources pointed out that office equipment was expected to be brought to the building soon.
Procedures regarding those who applied to the guesthouse to benefit from the law were planned to be completed within two or three days, the sources stated.
Kinsmen who migrated from Bulgaria in 1989 stayed in Gaziosmanpasa Guesthouse for Immigrants. People from Bosnia-Herzegovina were settled in the guesthouse in 1992 and Kosovars stayed in the guesthouse in 1999. After massive earthquake of August 17, 1999, quake survivors sheltered in the guesthouse.

Sirnak Acting Governor Osman Beyazyildiz told A.A correspondent that Ankara had started to give instructions for preparations after the Reassociation Law was adopted by the parliament and they had completed the preparations.
Beyazyildiz said that they were prepared to meet all needs of those who would surrender, including their feeding, health and clothing needs.

Van Governor Hikmet Tan said that they started to re-organize facilities of Vanspor for the members of the terrorist organization who would surrender to security forces under the Reassociation Law.
Tan noted that the facilities would have been repaired within a week and those who would surrender would take shelter in the newly-formed center until their interrogation was completed.
All needs of those who surrender to security forces would be met in that center, Tan pointed out.
Tan said that those who had not committed crimes would be released from that center.
Dormitory, interrogation rooms, health units, an office for the prosecutor, press center and information office would take place in that center, Tan added.
