HAKKARI - 21 people were injured as the terrorist organization PKK detonated explosives, earlier planted on a highway, in southeastern city of Hakkari, Governor's Office announced on Wednesday.
Releasing a statement, the governor's office indicated that eight of the injured were soldiers, 11 of them were students and two were civilians.
According to the governor's office, explosives, earlier planted on a highway, were detonated by a remote-control.
The injured are hospitalized in Hakkari, and they are in stable condition, said doctors.
Meanwhile, 16 people were detained after the blast.
