ANKARA - A package found in the garden of the Justice Ministry's Center of Education for Judge and Prosecutor Candidates in Ankara exploded on Friday, injuring six security officials.
The package exploded when security officials were examining it.
Six security officials were injured in the blast. Two of them suffered serious injuries.
The injured were taken under medical treatment in Numune Hospital.
Ankara Police Chief Ercument Yilmaz was in the Justice Ministry's Center of Education for Judge and Prosecutor Candidates when the blast occurred.
Meanwhile, another package which was also found in the garden of the center exploded after it was thrown to the empty building beside the center. Nobody was injured in this blast while the explosion shattered the windows of the empty building.
Experts think that the package thrown to the empty building contained a resonant bomb.
