RIZE - One of the three Czech mountaineers who was injured while climbing Kackar mountains of northern Rize province on Wednesday, was transferred to Karadeniz University Medicine School as he was seriously injured.
Jan Dolejfi (25) was injured when a piece of rock hit his head while descending from the mountain in Okuzbasý region. His friends Martin Hrbek (28) and Karol Hegonka (29) left him to bring help, but they lost their way due to heavy fog. Later they called gendarme and civil defense teams found and hospitalized them.
Dolejfi was later transferred from Rize State Hospital to Karadeniz University as his condition was serious. The conditions of Hrbek and Hegonka are fine.
