GAZIANTEP - Security forces impounded 60.6 kg of heroin in an operation in the southeastern city of Gaziantep on Tuesday.
Acting on a tip-off, security forces stopped and searched a truck which was on its way from Iran to Gaziantep. They seized 60.6 kg of heroin hidden in the vehicle.
Six people were detained in the operation.
A full investigation into illicit drug trafficking is under way.
