ANKARA - Iraqi Turkmen Front (ITF) Chairman Sadettin Ergec arrived in Turkish capital of Ankara on Monday.
Replying to questions of reporters at Esenboga Airport, Ergec stated that he would exchange views on several issues with Turkish authorities during his one-week stay in Ankara.
Ergec underlined that also Iraqi Turkmens must be in the new government to be formed in Iraq, stating that plots were staged against Turkmens before and after elections in Iraq.
Recalling that Turkmens constituted 13 percent of Iraqi population, Ergec indicated that Turkmens should be represented in Iraqi government not only by seats but also another community in Iraq.
