ANKARA - The 56th meeting of Turkey-EU Joint Parliamentary Commission (JPC) will be held in Turkish parliament between May 3rd and 5th.
Parliament Speaker Bulent Arinc will make opening remarks of the meeting on Wednesday.
State Minister & Chief Negotiator for EU talks Ali Babacan, Ambassador Hansjorg Kretschmer --Head of the Delegation of the European Commission--, Turkey-EU JPC Co-President Joost Lagendijk and several other officials will deliver speeches during the meeting.
Participants will focus on ''Turkey-EU relations and accession talks'' in the first session of the meeting.
''European identity and values: freedom of expression, and respect to religious and cultural values'' will also be discussed in the second session of the meeting.
