ISTANBUL - Turkish exports reached 6.4 billion USD in April, 2006.
According to Chairman of the Turkish Exporters' Assembly (TIM) Oguz Satici, exports increased by 6 percent when compared to the same month, a year ago.
Satici also indicated that exports in the first four months of 2006 --amounting 25 billion USD-- increased by 6.9 percent compared to the same term of 2005. Oguz Satici stressed that Turkey's exports in the past 12 months have reached 75 billion USD.
