ANKARA - Margaret Wilson, the Parliament Speaker of New Zealand will pay a formal visit to Turkey between April 19th and 26th upon the invitation of Turkish Parliament Speaker Bulent Arinc.
Wilson's schedule will start on April 20th by visiting Anitkabir (Mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the Founder of the Modern Turkish Republic) before her bilateral meeting with Arinc.
Following the meeting between the delegations of the two countries, Wilson and the accompanying delegation will partake in the lunch that will be hosted by Turkey-New Zealand Interparliamentary Friendship Group Chairman Aziz Akgul.
The delegation will later be received by Turkish President Ahmet Necdet Sezer.
Arinc will host a dinner in honor of the guest delegation the same evening.
On April 21st, Wilson will meet Turkish National Education Minister Huseyin Celik and proceed to Istanbul.
On April 23rd, the delegation will proceed to Canakkale and attend Anzac ceremonies on April 24th and 25th.
The guest delegation is expected to depart from Istanbul on April 26th.
