ANKARA - President Vaclav Klaus of Czech Republic arrived in Ankara on Tuesday on a two-day state visit.
An official welcoming ceremony will take place at the Turkish Presidential Palace in honor of President Klaus, later in the day.
President Ahmet Necdet Sezer and his Czech counterpart are expected to hold a news conference following their tete-a-tete meeting.
President Klaus will receive Turkish Parliament Speaker Bulent Arinc and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
He is also scheduled to attend a conference at the Middle East Technical University (METU) on ''Enlargement of EU and Turkey''.
Besides the bilateral relations between Turkey and Czech Republic, recent international and regional issues will be high on agenda of President Klaus' meetings with Turkish authorities.
