ANKARA - Durmus Yilmaz was appointed as the new governor of the Turkish Central Bank, on Tuesday.
President Ahmet Necdet Sezer signed the decree making Durmus Yilmaz the new CB governor.
Yilmaz was born in the western city of Usak in 1947 and was graduated from the City University of London.
He has been a member of the Central Bank's Executive Board since May 2003.
