Two Turks Released In Guantanamo Taken To Police Headquarters In Istanbul

ISTANBUL - A total of two Turks who came to Istanbul after being released from the U.S. base in Guantanamo were taken to police headquarters on Sunday.
Ibrahim Habaci and Arif Ulusam who were earlier arrested in Malawi as they were accused of being members of Al Qaeda following the Sept. 11 terrorist incident and who were brought to the U.S. base in Guantanamo, came to Istanbul on Sunday after being released. They were taken to police station at Ataturk Airport.
Habaci and Ulusam were later taken to police headquarters on Vatan Street in Istanbul.
Officials said that Ulusam was a restaurant owner and Habaci was the headmaster of a school.
Officials said it seemed that Ulusam and Habaci who have passports did not have any legal problems and added that those people could be released in line with the order of prosecutor's office.
