Caglayan: Companies Which Want To Make Business With Iraq Should Be Supported Financially

ANKARA - Ankara Chamber of Industry (ASO) Chairman Zafer Caglayan said on Saturday that companies which wanted to make business with Iraq should be supported financially.
In his article which was published in monthly ASOMEDYA periodical, Caglayan said that commercial relations between Turkey and Iraq could not be developed easily without contribution and effort of private sector.
Caglayan said, ''we, as ASO, brought Turkish and Iraqi businessmen together in a meeting in the chamber last month and discussed cooperation possibilities. The great interest in the meeting shows that businessmen of the two countries are ready for this cooperation. The government has duty to prepare the necessary political atmosphere and extend support on financing to put into practice this cooperation.''
He added that Turkey had sufficient knowledge and experience on contracting services to put into practice infrastructure projects of Iraq.
