Number Of Tourists Who Come To Antalya Exceeds 2 Million

ANTALYA - The number of foreign tourists who have come to southern province of Antalya by planes since the beginning of the year exceeded 2 million.
Officials told the A.A correspondent that 2,007,278 foreign tourists had come to Antalya since the beginning of the year and said that the number of tourists who came to Antalya to spend their holiday increased by 7 percent till July 20, 2003 when compared to the same period of 2002.
The number of foreign tourists who came to Antalya and its vicinity by planes reached 486,730 between July 1 and 20, this number was 454,877 in the same period of last year.
State Airports Administration officials said that the number of planes which landed at Antalya Airport and took off from the airport reached 362 on July 18, 389 on July 19 and 423 on July 20.
