Fires Destroy 1,988 Hectares Of Forested Area Since Beginning Of Year

ANKARA - A total of 1,988 hectares of forested area has been destroyed since the beginning of the year.
Releasing a statement on Thursday, the Ministry of Environment and Forestry said that a total of 941 forest fires had erupted since the beginning of the year, destroying 1,988 hectares of forested area.
