ANKARA - Banks' credit volume increased 83.2 trillion Turkish liras (TL) to 45 quadrillion 667.6 trillion TL between July 4-11, 2003.
The total credit volume at banks was 45 quadrillion 584.4 trillion TL on July 4.
The credits given to financial sector were composed of 760.7 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 1 quadrillion 572.7 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
The credits given to non-financial sector were composed of 191.5 trillion TL of loans given by Central Bank, 38 quadrillion 859.6 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 4 quadrillion 283 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
