ANKARA - The total foreign exchange deposit accounts at banks dencreased 311 million U.S. dollars to 64 billion 430 million U.S. dollars between July 4-11, 2003.
According to Central Bank's provisional statistics, total foreign exchange deposit accounts at banks was 64 billion 741 million U.S. dollars on July 4.
The foreign exchange deposits decreased 167 million U.S. dollars to 49 billion 37 million U.S. dollars in the same period.
The total internal foreign exchange deposits decreased 213 million U.S. dollars to 46 billion 768 million U.S. dollars while external foreign exchange deposits rose 46 million U.S. dollars to 2 billion 269 million U.S. dollars in the same period.
Meanwhile, total foreign exchange deposits at the interbank market decreased 64 million U.S. dollars to 261 million U.S. dollars.
The foreign exchange deposits with letter of credit and super foreign exchange accounts decreased 108 million U.S. dollar to 15 billion 285 million U.S. dollars between July 11 and 18, 2003.
