ANKARA - Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Ugur Ziyal received on Thursday Mongolian Foreign Ministry's State Secretary Radnaabazaryn Altangerel, who is currently in Turkey upon his invitation.
Following the meeting, Ziyal told reporters that relations between Turkey and Mongolia would be further improved.
Ziyal said that they took up bilateral and regional relations between two countries which had common history and culture.
An agreement on education between the Foreign Ministry Education Center and Mongolian Foreign Ministry Education Center was signed in the meeting.
Deniz Uzmen, the Head of the Education Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs who signed the agreement on behalf of Turkey, said that the agreement on education of young diplomats would improve Turkish-Mongolian relations which had a positive course.
Uzmen stated that the agreement would be implemented by direct education and training or reciprocal visits, adding that they planned to put the agreement into practice as of the following year.
