ANKARA - Foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank increased by 503 million U.S. dollars between July 11 and 18, 2003.
According to the Central Bank's weekly bulletin, the Central Bank's foreign exchange reserves which were 28 billion 40 million U.S. dollars on July 11, increased to 28 billion 543 million U.S. dollars on July 18.
Total foreign exchange reserves of banks and private finance organizations increased 208 million U.S. dollars from 9 billion 274 million U.S. dollars to 9 billion 554 million U.S. dollars between June 27 and July 4.
The international reserves of Turkey comprising gold reserves and foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank, commercial banks and private finance organizations increased 77 million U.S. dollars from 38 billion 394 million U.S. dollars to 39 billion 471 million U.S. dollars between June 27 and July 4.
