ANKARA - Parliamentary Foreign Affairs Commission Chairman Mehmet Dulger said on Thursday that Turkey could not send soldiers to Iraq within the scope of the motion adopted on March 20.
Replying to questions of reporters if the government would send soldiers to Iraq within the scope of the motion adopted in March, Dulger said, ''you will send soldiers there, they will stay there for a long time. What will you do when their period of mission is over? Some provisions covering extension of period of mission should also be included in the motion. It should be an arrangement covering whole Iraq.''
