ANKARA - The government and TURK-IS (Turkish Labor Unions) have reached a consensus in collective bargaining late on Tuesday.
Releasing a statement after the meeting with the administration of TURK-IS at Prime Ministry, State Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet Ali Sahin said that they reached a consensus in collective bargaining.
Sahin said that they provided an increase worth of 55 million Turkish Liras (TL) regarding the first six-month-increase in salaries. He added that they agreed on nine percent increase in salaries for the second six-month period and five percent increases for the third and fourth six-month periods and if the inflation would become over five percent, they would also pay this amount separately.
