ANKARA - Foreign Trade Undersecretary Tuncer Kayalar said on Monday that important part of the contracts related to oil sector signed by Turkish companies prior to the operation in Iraq, would be realized in short period of time.
Issuing a written statement, Kayalar said that nearly 50 contracts which were approved were taken among the contracts having priority in Iraq to meet the urgent needs of that country. Tuncer Kayalar stated that the total value of the contracts was around 22 million U.S. dollars.
Kayalar stated that they launched efforts to put into practice all of the contracts signed by Turkish companies with Iraq before the war.
