Free Passages Between Trnc And Greek Cypriot Side

LEFKOSA - Despite the call of the Greek Cypriot side to Greek Cypriot persons not to go to TRNC on July 20 Festival of Peace and Freedom, Greek Cypriots, although less in number when compared to previous days, visited TRNC on Sunday.
Police stated that 232 Greek Cypriots entered TRNC as of 17.00 p.m., while 1004 Turkish Cypriots passed to the Greek Cypriot side.
Free passages between TRNC and the Greek Cypriot side started on April 23, 2003 upon the decision taken by TRNC cabinet.
