TOKAT - Tokat Airport, which has been closed for 4 years, was re-opened to air traffic on Sunday with the landing of a plane belonging to Atlasjet Airlines.
The plane departing from Istanbul, landed at Tokat Airport at 12.50 local time with its 66 passengers.
Tokat Governor Erdogan Gurbuz wanted citizens to prefer airlines from now on.
The plane returned to Istanbul at 1:40 p.m.
