SEYDISEHIR - Turkish State Minister & Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet Ali Sahin said on Saturday that the government planned to take a census toward the end of this year.
Stating that studies are carried out to take a census in Turkey, Sahin said, ''a legal arrangement was needed on this issue. State Minister Besir Atalay submitted a draft law to the Parliament on this issue. Parliament will debate this draft law next week. I think curfew will be imposed for this census and this will be the last. Next census and all other numerical activities after this census will be made through computer.''
