Erdogan: United States Requested Soldier From Turkey

BATMAN - Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan who also acts as leader of the Justice and Development Party (AK Party) said on Sunday that the United States requested Turkey to send soldiers to Iraq.
Speaking at provincial congress of the AK Party in southeastern province of Batman, Prime Minister Erdogan said, ``the United States requested Turkey to send soldiers to Iraq.``
``This request have showed that the administration in Turkey is in a very good condition. Turkey has been further improving its strategic partnership with the United States,`` he added.
