IZMIR - A truck collided with five vehicles on the highway between western cities of Izmir and Manisa killing one police officer and injuring 12 people.
Sources said on Saturday that a truck collided with two minibuses, one of which was carrying high-school students, and three cars on Izmir-Manisa highway, stating that one police officer died, and 12 people including students were injured in the accident. They were taken to nearby hospitals.
One of the students was seriously injured, sources added.
