ISTANBUL - ''Turkey has a remarkable advertising market and is one of the fastest growing economies in the world,'' said CanWest Mediaworks International Chairman Tom Strike today.
CanWest reported that it has purchased Turkish radio stations such as Super FM, Metro FM, Joy FM and Joy Turk FM in exchange for 61 million USD.
CanWest is the biggest publisher in northern America and owns TV channels, radio stations, web sites in Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Britain, Ireland and Turkey.
