ANKARA - The Union of Chambers of Turkish Engineers & Architects (TMMOB) Ankara Branch has criticized the government's decision to build a nuclear power plant in Black Sea city of Sinop.
In a statement made public today, TMMOB indicated that it is impossible to present the dirtiest source of energy (which is nuclear energy) as the 'most clean' energy.
TMMOB decided to organize a protest meeting in Sinop on April 29th, the day of the anniversary of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant disaster.
