First International Smyrna Symposium To Start On Monday

IZMIR - The First International Smyrna Symposium which was organized by Izmir Municipality will start in western province of Izmir on Monday.
Releasing a statement, Izmir Municipality said on Saturday that the First International Smyrna Symposium would start at the Sabanci Culture Hall with the participation of 100 Turkish and foreign scientists.
During the symposium, participants will assess excavations in the ancient city of Smyrna.
The symposium will end on Wednesday with a session on ''History, Archaeology and Religion''.
