ANKARA - A total of 50 automobiles were confiscated in 13 member countries to the Southeast European Regional Center for the Fight against Crossborder Crime in a synchronic operation.
Sources told A.A correspondent on Friday that the two-day operation was launched on Wednesday with the participation of 13 member countries including Turkey.
In the operation, a total of 50 stolen automobiles were confiscated.
In Turkey leg of the operation, security forces seized 30 stolen automobiles in Istanbul, Antalya, Edirne, Konya, Ardahan, Sanliurfa, Hakkari, Hatay, Manisa, Mersin, Bursa and Mugla provinces. It was revealed that two of these automobiles were stolen from the Netherlands and Italy.
