BURSA - Exports of textiles from northwestern Turkish city of Bursa rose by 13.9 percent while exports of ready-made clothing dropped by 1.8 percent in the first quarter of 2006.
The Uludag Exporters' Association executives told the A.A on Monday that exports of textiles rose from 193.6 million USD to 220.5 million USD in the January-March period. On the other hand, exports of ready-made clothing are down 1.8 percent going from 136.2 million USD to 133.6 million USD in the same period.
