KOCAELI - Two workers were injured when a military helicopter crashed into roof of a steel factory in the northwestern city of Kocaeli on Monday.
The helicopter crashed during a military exercise over Uzunciftlik hamlet due to a technical failure, killing three soldiers on board and injuring two workers at the factory.
Eyewitnesses said that the helicopter exploded in the air before crashing down. The helicopter split in three. Its blades hit a nearby factory, its fuselage fell onto another factory and a part of its tail crashed into roof of the steel factory.
Meanwhile, it was claimed that there were four soldiers aboard the helicopter.
