ANKARA - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan met Polish Foreign Minister Stefan Meller today in Ankara. The two ministers discussed Turkey's accession to the European Union and the status quo in screening process.
According to sources, Erdogan congratulated Meller over the newly formed Polish government.
Meller informed Erdogan that Poland wishes to develop political and economic relations with Turkey.
We believe that Turkey will become a full member of the European Union, said Meller. ''Turkey will greatly contribute to Europe's stability and security.''
Meanwhile, in a separate meeting, Erdogan met Ukrainian Defense Minister Anatoliy Hrytsenko in Ankara today. Erdogan and Hrytsenko discussed bilateral military relations and mutually agreed to conduct technical projects under the leadership of ministries of defense.
