ANKARA - Transportation Minister Binali Yýldýrým met with Sudanese Transportation Minister Sammani al-Cheikh al-Waseilah and Sudanese Minister of Civil Aviation Joseph Malwal on Friday.
Addressing the meeting, Yýldýrým expressed condolences upon the killing of 115 persons in a plane crash in Sudan.
Hoping the visit to contribute to development of relations between the two countries, Yýldýrým said that they would exchange view about the opportunities and potential of the two countries in fields of railroads, sea transportation and airlines.
Sudanese Minister Al-Waseilah said in his part that they chose Turkey as a model to themselves, adding that they targeted to put into practice in Sudan the studies undertaken in Turkey.
Sudenese Civil Aviation Minister Joseph Malwal said that they targeted to strengthen the relations between Turkey and Sudan.
Malwal invited Transportation Minister Yýldýrým to Sudan.
