ANKARA - Banks' credit volume decreased 126.7 trillion Turkish liras (TL) to 45 quadrillion 584.3 trillion TL between June 27 and July 4, 2003.
The total credit volume at banks was 45 quadrillion 711.1 trillion TL on June 27.
The credits given to financial sector were composed of 779.5 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 1 quadrillion 549.7 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
The credits given to non-financial sector were composed of 190 trillion TL of loans given by Central Bank, 38 quadrillion 712.7 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 4 quadrillion 352.5 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
