ROME - Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi's centre-right coalition may win a majority in the lower house of parliament, latest vote projections indicated Monday.
The projections by Nexus gave Berlusconi's House of Freedoms bloc 49.9 percent of the vote against 49.6 percent for challenger Romano Prodi's centre-left Union coalition.
