TRABZON - Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who also acts as leader of the Justice and Development Party (AK Party), said on Wednesday, ''some circles claimed that Turkish people's honor was disregarded against the United States.''
Speaking at provincial congress of the AK Party in northern province of Trabzon, Prime Minister Erdogan said, ''those who accused Turkey of not entering Iraq, criticized later that relations with the United States were harmed. Some circles claimed that Turkish people's honor was disregarded against the United States. State affairs require seriousness and determination. There is no room for feelings in state affairs. Republic of Turkey has reached its current position with its honor.''
