WASHINGTON, D.C. - Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul is expected to start his visit to Washington, D.C. on July 22.
Gul who will come to Washington as the guest of U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell is expected to come together with other high-ranking U.S. officials.
Sources told the A.A correspondent that Foreign Minister Gul was also expected to hold meetings in the U.S. Congress and deliver speech in some think-tank organizations.
Abdullah Gul was invited by Powell to Washington, D.C. during Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Ugur Ziyal's visit to the city last month.
