LONDON - Ankara Industry Chamber (ASO) Chairman Zafer Caglayan was the only Turkish person who was invited to the garden party held upon the 50th crown anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II held in Buckingham Palace.
Caglayan said that he was very pleased to be among the persons who were invited to the garden party in which officials of the Turkish Embassy in London were also present.
Caglayan said that ASO was carrying out a joint project with Coventry University of Britain, adding that the cooperation agreement foresaw easing procedures for British and Turkish businessmen to make trade in the two countries and in third countries. When asked if Iraq was among the countries where Turkish and British businessmen would undertake joint projects, Caglayan said '''certainly. Turkish businessmen know Iraq well, they particularly know the market in construction field.''
