ANKARA - Turkish Energy & Natural Resources Minister Hilmi Guler met on Wednesday Matthew Bryza, U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, who is holding a series of talks in Turkish capital of Ankara.
After the meeting, Bryza said that Guler and himself discussed ways and means to improve strategic partnership between Turkey and the United States. Bryza noted, ''Baku-Ceyhan-Tbilisi (BTC) crude oil pipeline project is one of the significant signs of this partnership between the two.''
Replying a question on construction of nuclear power plants in Turkey, Bryza noted that U.S. companies are eager to assist construction of power plants, adding that Turkey and the United States were still maintaining talks on nuclear energy and technology.
