ANKARA - ''It is out of question that (CIA) planes are landing at southeastern city of Diyarbakir,'' Turkish MFA Spokesman Namik Tan has indicated.
When he was reminded of the report of Amnesty International (AI) reaffirming that CIA planes secretly transport suspects to detention centers (in several locations around the world) and they also landed at Diyarbakir, Tan denied the allegations.
-ISKENDERUN PORT-
In regard to some news reports claiming that American military officers conducted an inspection in Iskenderun Port, Tan said that an American military delegation was given a briefing in southern city of Iskenderun with the permission of Turkish General Staff.
He recalled that there was an agreement on defense and economic cooperation between the U.S. and Turkey.
